C.M. Punk to make first TV appearance since leaving WWE (but not for WWE)
Mar 9, 2014 - 10:12 PM |
WWE star C.M. Punk will appear on AMC's "The Talking Dead" on March 16 at 9:00 p.m. CT. Punk will appear on the live broadcast with host Chris Hardwick and a panel that also includes Melissa McBride and Yvette Nicole Brown. [Thanks to Dot Net staffer Zack Zimmerman and readers Dannis Fanning and Connor Gillaspia]
Powell's POV: Punk previously appeared on "Talking Dead" and Brown was also a guest on that episode. He was scheduled to be on Hardwick's Comedy Central show last month but he ended up being pulled from the lineup, presumably due to his situation with WWE. At the end of Sunday's show, Hardwick hyped that "Phil Brooks, a/k/a C.M. Punk" would appear.
