WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and Brian Lawler (a/k/a Brian Christopher, Grandmaster Sexay) appeared on Monday's Raw show. Lawler confronted his father and accused him of being a lousy dad. Meanwhile, Ross came out and confronted Michael Cole, only to take Cole's version of the ankle lock thanks to some help from Jack Swagger.

Powell's POV: The Lawler family drama playing out on television was more uncomfortable than anything. Sure, it made Cole seem like a prick for bringing out Lawler's son to badmouth him on television, but it did not make for good television. Fortunately, the surprise return of Ross popped the crowd and got the fans engaged again. I'm beginning to think that we haven't seen or heard the last from Ross, who would be an ideal replacement for the "injured" Cole at and following WrestleMania 27.
