WWE News: Injury to Nexus member could be a serious one
Aug 20, 2010 - 10:33 AM |
By Rich Twilling
Skip Sheffield injured his ankle during a match in Hawaii on Wednesday. Two Dot Net readers sent reports saying Sheffield could not put pressure on the ankle and had to be helped to the back.
The Wrestling Observer has reported Sheffield has a broken ankle, which would keep him out of action for the foreseeable future. There is still no activity on Sheffield's Twitter page.
Twill's Two Cents: Then there were five. I wonder if this will be a chance for anyone in the season two NXT class to be added to The Nexus. Husky Harris comes to mind as a perfect fit for the group. Tough break (no pun) for Sheffield, as he was the solid number three guy in the group.
