Although former WWE star Dave Batista told TMZ that he will be fighting for the MMA group Strikeforce, a company official told 5thRound.com that he has not signed. Powell's POV: For those who missed it, Batista told TMZ cameras that he will be fighting for Strikeforce, but he declined to say who his opponent would be. It's possible he was messing with the cameraman, but he did attend the Strikeforce event last week and has engaged in MMA training. Only time will tell whether he's serious about MMA and whether Strikeforce is interested in using him. It's also worth noting that it's possible he hasn't officially signed yet, but feels confident that a deal will be made.
