Update on former WWE wrestler Mr. Kennedy (a/k/a Ken Anderson) - Could he debut at the next TNA Impact tapings?
Aug 20, 2009 - 02:16 PM |
Ken Anderson, who wrestled as Mr. Kennedy in WWE, will become a free agent within the next two weeks. He was released by WWE on May 29, so his 90-day noncompete clause will expire within that time. Anderson has already committed to working in Europe for the Nu Wrestling Evolution promotion from Sept. 24 to Oct. 3.
Powell's POV: One can only assume that Anderson would be contractually free to debut for TNA at the Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 Impact tapings in Orlando. Although my guess is that Anderson is TNA bound, nothing is official. It's worth noting that Anderson's tour with NWE takes place right after a set of Impact tapings, and concludes right before another set of Impact tapings, which seems rather telling.
