Powell's POV: I'm surprised by this development given that the word out of Las Vegas over the weekend was that Lashley told people he was not going to sign with TNA. It will be interesting to see what the reaction is within UFC, as MMA sources have previously stated UFC officials wanted him to fully commit to MMA before they would seriously consider signing him. It might be a setback, but my guess is that UFC will eventually sign him if he continues to win fights and makes a name for himself.
