TNA News: Hulk Hogan update

Hulk Hogan's future with TNA is described as being up in the air right now. Hogan's contract is up on October 1, as we broke on September 17. TNA taped an angle that will air on next week's television show that gave the company an out if this was his final taping with the company yet also left the door open for his return.

Powell's POV: This does not appear to be a case of TNA simply allowing Hogan's deal to expire and allowing him to leave. Rather, it appears that the two sides are discussing a new deal. It's worth mentioning again that Eric Bischoff's deal with the company no longer expires at the same time Hogan's contract is up. Although they initially signed with the company at the same time, Bischoff's received a different deal once he was promoted to the executive producer position.
