WWE News: Daniel Bryan out of Money in the Bank
Daniel Bryan will not be able to wrestle at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view after undergoing neck surgery on May 15, according to SEScoops.com. The WWE World Heavyweight Championship is expected to be vacated and will be on the line in a Money in the Bank ladder match.
Powell's POV: It's a shame that Bryan will have to drop the strap this way, but I am actually happy to see him take the time he needs to recover rather than return prematurely to keep the title. It will be interesting to see if WWE has another MITB match to keep the briefcase in play. The idea that I have been throwing around is that Triple H presents the briefcase to Seth Rollins as a payoff for leaving The Shield. Of course, the Rollins' payoff could also be a spot in the MITB match for the title.
