Shore's WWE Smackdown Hit List: Dolph Ziggler vs. Batista, Bray Wyatt promo, Bo Dallas needs a bigger promo, Adam Rose needs to stop talking, and more

WWE Smackdown Hits
Dolph Ziggler vs. Batista: An entertaining match that gets the slight nod over the main event for match of the show. My only quibble here is that Ziggler continues to be marginalized, but I've exhausted innumerable bits talking about that. I'm not sure that Batista is gaining anything from these matches either. Ziggler's stock is at an all-time low, so beating him doesn't carry much of a punch. He's proving he can take a great worker like Ziggler and have a good match, which counts for something, but I doubt any fans look at Batista any differently after this match, even if they were entertained by it.
The Usos vs. The Wyatt Family: I am looking forward to this feud really getting off the ground. This match was just a taste of what they could do in a PPV situation, and I think they Usos popularity is peaking at the right time with the right opponents. I'm not sure how they make this feud work where both teams come out the better for it because of the way they are setting it up, but I look forward to them trying to find a way and hopefully delivering.
Bray Wyatt promo: Wyatt's promo falls just within the Hit are but he almost took it too far this time. Wyatt has to walk a fine line between obsession and downright insanity. Obsession makes for a great heel character. See Heath Ledger's Joker character. Insanity just leads to chaos. And chaos is not storytelling. Still, he managed to stay on this side of the line this week and produced yet another memorable promo. I continue to marvel at the former Husky Harris and his new character.
WWE Smackdown Misses
Bo Dallas debut: Bray Wyatt's real-life brother did not impress me with his debut. I've seen the act before, and I do think he has a chance to get it over, but the first shot at it was a miss. He needs more mic time to get that act over right. The vignettes almost come across as babyface clips, yet he is obviously a heel. The disconnect between how he presented his character on TV and how it was presented in those vignettes will only be overcome with mic time, not beating Sin Cara 2.0. The handshake and pep talk at the end was a nice touch, but he still has a lot of work to do. Not for nothing, but Bray really has to keep that beard for forever. The two Rotunda brothers look so much alike it's obvious they are related. I assume they want to avoid that connection as much as possible.
Adam Rose and Vickie Guerrero: Adam Rose has a lollipop. Vickie Guerrero likes to scream. All of this has already been established before, so I fail to see what they were trying to do with this skit. Vickie draws great heat, no question. But as we have seen time and again, she doesn't do a great job of transferring that heat to other people. Rose is the exact opposite of Bo Dallas. He needs to stop with the silly talking and do more wrestling. We know what the act is. Now we need to see if he can make it work in the ring.
Hulk Hogan: I fully understand the need and desire to have Hogan come over the pond and sale the WWE Network to the British audience, but did we have to see it on Smackdown. The segment just felt out of place and didn't get Smackdown off to a great start.
