WWE Live Event
Perth, Australia
Report by Dot Net reader Declan Young

It was a good crowd. Lots of bright green John Cena tops everywhere. The set looked good.

The show opened with R-Truth doing his rap entrance. The mic was not working at the start. Got a good opening pop. Bo Dallas cut a promo. Included asking the crowd "whats going on" in R-truth style. Funny.

1. R-Truth beat Bo Dallas. The match was ho-hum. Truth won with a roll up. and then chased Bo out.

2. Diego beat Fandango. Good fast pace. Both men entered to little reaction but engaged the hot crowd really well. After the match Bo Dallas ran to the ring and said "Truth is slow." Funny. Truth came out and hit a lie detector.

3. The Miz defeated Kofi Kingston to retain the Intercontinental Title. Miz had massive heat. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand. He faked a injury to gain the upper hand and won from there. This was a great match that got everyone excited. The Miz on the mic is amazing.

4. The Uso Brothers and Chris Jericho beat The Wyatt Family. Big pop for Y2J and the Usos. The Wyatt Family's entrance is something in person. Akin to the Undertaker. A good fast match. Typical tag team stuff. Y2J won with a Codebreaker. They played the crowd after and we headed to intermission.

5. Emma and Nikki Bella beat Alicia Fox and Layla. There was a fan vote for dance off vs match. Match won. I may be biased because Alicia Fox is so stunning, but this was a damm good Divas match. Good pace. Humour was added in with missed tags. There was athletic splashes and good striking. Honestly, I planned to use this time to grab a drink, but they held mine and mosts interest to the hot finish. Emma won. Hometown pop (well, home country at least).

6. Sheamus defeated Rob Van Dam and Cesaro in a Triple Threat to retain the U.S. Championship. The match had everything. Great pace. Exciting. I know the champ wins at house shows but my belief was suspended during every fall. RVD stole the show. Ceasro did a swing on Shemus that television doesn't do justice. Incredible match. Of course, the champ won.

7. Roman Reigns defeated Kane in a Street Fight with Ric Flair as special referee. Woooos throughout. Decent main event. Chokeslam through the table spot. Ric Flair delivered some chops. There were a few spots with the stairs and a chair. Roman won with a spear. Flair basically sprinted away. Roman thanked the crowd and sent everyone home happy.

All up a great and entertaining show. No one phoned it in and no match was dull. The crowd was hot.
